The climbing hydrangea is a woody vine (30') that is self-clinging and requires no support. It is a plant that requires a lot of gardener's patience as it is slow to establish itself. Once established it becomes very large (5" across) and lacy with white flowers. It likes sun-shade environnments and moist, well drained soil. It is well worth the effort (Zone 4) !

This is a graceful and small conifer tree that grows with elegant foliage and branches. It needs to receive full sun to light shade and is an excellent focal point tree (Zone 2)!

The black hills spruce is a variety of the white spruce but because of its natural northern habitat, is extremely hardy and more dense. It is smaller than other spruces and is recommended for a smaller yard.
